CUSTOMIZED JOB TRAINING (CJT)

Description: Provides grants to businesses in need of training assistance for new hires, retraining efforts and upgrading employees in an effort to retain and create jobs in Pennsylvania.

Eligibility:

• Manufacturing
• Industrial
• Agricultural enterprises
• Advanced technology
• Business service firms

Eligible Uses:

• Instructional costs
• Supplies
• Consumable materials
• Contracted services
• Relevant travel costs for local education agency project coordinators

Where to Apply: MCIDC office or Single Application

Amounts: Grants up to 75% of the eligible costs for new job creation, retention, upgrade training

Terms/Conditions: Must be for actual training
