The Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center (DVIRC) is a private non-profit economic development corporation working to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized manufacturers in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
The DVIRC is supported by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Office of Sciences and Technology & Workforce and the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST), Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP).
DVIRC's mission is to improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized manufacturers through the implementation of World Class Manufacturing practices.
Since their inception in 1988, the DVIRC has worked with more than 900 companies in the five county area on more than 2,100 projects. The professional staff and network of private consultants have hands-on experience with the issues facing manufacturers in today's business environment.
As the region's industrial extension organization, the DVIRC works in partnership with area firms to identify projects that will improve quality, productivity, profitability, and competitive position. The center offers both financial and technical assistance.
