The Temple Small Business Development Center (SBDC) stimulates small business growth and success. We provide high quality business management consulting and training for small and mid-sized growth companies, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs, in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The SBDC operates as a full resource to entrepreneurs and their needs with the following available services: free personalized consulting and coaching, hands-on training, government marketing opportunities, business legal advice, creative services, and more. The SBDC also houses the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the Business Incubator Program. The SBDC supplies entrepreneurs with a rich environment for development and a solid ground to stand on.

In addition to the main office at Temple’s campus in Philadelphia, the SBDC provides services in Montgomery County through an office at Temple’s Ambler Campus and at the MCIDC offices in East Norriton. Workshops and seminars on a variety of business management, start-up, and financing topics are offered at both the Main Campus and at Temple’s Fort Washington facilities.

The Temple University SBDC is part of a network of university and college centers providing a wide range of services to small businesses. Established in 1983, the SBDC is part of the Temple University Fox School of Business and Management, rated #1 in Value, #2 in Career Progress, and #3 in International Experience by Financial Times 2005.
